Organic farming differs from conventional farming in that it excludes the use of synthetic chemicals and genetically modified organisms at various stages of production. Among the first characteristics, and also among the advantages of organic food, is the controlled supply chain. To define a food as organic, in fact, it is necessary to know all the production steps. The absence of pesticides, chemical fertilisers and GMOs, on the other hand, makes organic products objectively healthier: the body accumulates fewer toxins and disposal is quicker and easier.
